Who we are

What data we process

Quote form and booking. Name, email address, telephone number, and the details you give about your event: type, date, location, guest numbers and budget. We need this data to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.

Email, telephone and WhatsApp. Whatever you tell us through those channels. For WhatsApp, the privacy terms of WhatsApp Ireland Limited also apply.

Visiting the website. Technical data such as your IP address, browser, operating system and the pages you view. This data serves the operation and security of the website.

Events. To deliver your event we additionally process information about your guests’ allergies and dietary requirements, insofar as you provide it. We use it solely to prepare and label the food.

What we use the data for

To answer your enquiry, to plan and deliver events, to issue invoices and to meet statutory retention obligations.

We do not sell data and we do not pass it on for third-party advertising.

Who data is shared with

Wix. This website runs on Wix, a service of Wix.com Ltd. Wix processes technical data and form submissions on our behalf. Data may also be processed outside Switzerland.

Wix Bookings for appointment scheduling.

Analytics and advertising. At present we use only the statistical reporting built into Wix, which shows us how the website is used. We do not currently use any further analytics or advertising services, such as those from Google or Meta. If that changes we will update this policy accordingly, and advertising cookies will only be set with your consent in the cookie notice.

Partners and suppliers. Where we bring in external partners for your event, for instance for flowers, furniture or technical equipment, we pass on only the details needed to deliver it.

Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies so that the website works. Other cookies, for instance for statistics or advertising, are only set if you consent in the cookie notice.

You can withdraw your consent at any time and delete cookies in your browser.

How long we keep data

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after twelve months.

Records of events we have delivered are kept for as long as statutory retention periods require, generally ten years.

Your rights

You may at any time ask what data we hold about you, and request that it be corrected or deleted. Write to info@michelekocht.ch.

Changes

We update this policy when our website or the services we use change. The version published here is the one that applies.
